Sending Email via Scanners or Network Printers
Collaboration Services does not provide support for the configuration of routing email from network scanners and printers, as these devices can potentially be a security risk. These devices, for the most part, do not include routing logs nor do they include any audit trail for the origination or destination email address, and thus confidential documents could be scanned and emailed outside of the university. An exception to this would be the university's ImageNow system which uses a secure mechanism for routing scanned images via email.
