Getting Started - Your First Login to myVCUmail Student Email

When you first login to your myVCUmail account at, whether it be your myVCUmail or Google Docs portion of the account, you will need to perform an account set up.  This only occurs once, but must take place or you will not be able to access your account. 

After logging into Gmail you will see the following screen:

You will see your "eID" and text that you must type in the box.  The characters above are only an example.  Each user will see different text.  Once you have entered the character set, click the "I accept.  Create my account." button.  This will validate your account and take you into your myVCUmail account.
