Create Report

Reports are customized, printable Reports from Grade Center data designed to be shared with students/participants. Reports can be generated for all of the grades in the Grade Center, for a specific time frame such as a marking period, for a defined group of Students, or for a defined Category of grades.

Reports are read-only. Reports are set to print details for one user per page.

1. Control Panel >> Grade Center >> Full Grade Center >> Reports >> Create Reports.

2. Check the boxes beside all of the information you would like included. The following information can be included in the Header of the Report:

  • Report Name: Required.
  • Date: Date the Report was created.
  • Institution Name: The default Institution Name.
  • Course Information: The Course Name and Course ID.
  • Instructor Names: Read only.
  • TA Names: Read only. 
  • Custom Text: Add any other text to be shown in the header.

3. Select the Users option desired - Select which students/participants to include in the Report. All users in the Grade Center can be selected or users can be selected by Group. Hold the Shift key down and click the first user and the last user to select a group of users from the list. Hold the Ctrl key down and click each name to add several users scattered throughout the list.

4. Select the user information to include in the Report.

5. Select the Columns option desired - Select which Columns to include in the Report. All Columns can be selected or Columns can be selected by Grading Period or Category. Hold the Shift key down and click the first Column and the last Column to select a group of Columns from the list. Hold the Ctrl key down and click each Column to add several Columns scattered throughout the list.

6. The grade for the Column is automatically added to the Report. Select other information, including Statistics, if desired.

7. Select what to include in the footer of each report.

  • Custom Text: Add any other text to be displayed in the footer.
  • Signature Line: Add a line for a signature to the Report.
  • Date: Date the Report was created.
  • Course Information: The Course Name and Course ID.

8. Click Submit.

Tip: To preview the Report before printing click Preview. The Report opens in a new browser window. Grade Center Reports can be printed using the browser Print operation. Individual pages in the Report cannot be selected for printing.
