Grades Showing 5 Decimal Places

[Printer Icon] Print this article

Issue: Users see grades with five decimal places rather than two decimal places when using percentages. For example, grades are showing 91.9090%, instead of 91.91%

Summary: The decimal places for percentages are displaying out to 4 or 5 places in the Grade Center. Documentation on the Grade Center indicates that while calculations are based on four or five decimal places, only two decimal places should be displayed. This was originally reported to occur in only the Weighted Total column, however, affects all columns if they have the Primary/Secondary Display set to Percentage.

Workaround: Unfortunately, The extra decimal places showing in the grade center is a known issue, but at this time there is no patch or workaround. The issue is targeted to be fixed in an upcoming software release.
