      6. Canvas Pages Not Loading - Chrome 96

      Issue

Various pages fail to load completely in Canvas presenting a blank section of the page. Gradebook most frequently but also inbox, pages, assignments, quizzes, and files have all been reported. It mostly affects teachers, but other roles can also experience the issue.

Happens in Chrome 96 in Windows 10/11.

      Fix

There is no fix at this time but Canvas engineers are looking into the problem.

      Workaround

Using a different browser and/or clearing the browser cache can be a temporary solution.

      • Clearing cache fixes it, but only temporarily and for most, but not for every user. When they come back to the page later it is broken again.

      • It does not seem to be related to custom CSS/Jscript
