Archiving and Echo360 Presentation Links in Blackboard
The Issue: The links in Blackboard courses will display an error if the echo presentation has been archived. Once archived, the data is removed from the Echo production server, and no traces remain in the database to tie the link to the location of the echo data.
The Workaround: The Blackboard instructor has 2 options.
- Delete the broken link in your Blackboard course.
- Make the broken link unavailable (so students cannot see it).
Other Options: If you unarchive the presentation, you can manually add a new link in your Blackboard course, or you could request that the Echo administrator for your department/school publish it from Echo360 directly into your Blackboard course.
