Faculty Survey Participation Requested
With the demand for quality learning environments and experiences, investing in technology in education is paramount for an institution's survival in the competitive higher education market. VCU Online, VCU AltLab and VCU Academic Technologies have teamed up to conduct a research study to explore faculty perceptions of teaching with technology. This study will help inform further development of existing technology tools and applications, as well as to determine whether our current technology and faculty development practices are meeting the needs of our faculty here at VCU. We also plan to compare this study with the one completed in 2019 to determine whether or not there have been any changes to faculty preference since the emergency pivot to remote teaching in 2020.
The survey is open from October 25 - November 19, 2021, and your participation is voluntary. If you chose to participate, your responses will help Technology Services, VCU Online, and Academic Technologies to improve their services. The results of this research study may be published, but no identiying information will be collected or used.
If you have any questions or concerns about this study, please contact Elaine Reeder, (804) 828-1798, ereeder@vcu.edu. You must be 18 or older to participate. Submitted survey responses will be considered your consent to participate. Thank you.
