Microsoft Online Learning

The VCU Microsoft Campus Agreement provides VCU faculty, staff and students access to a variety of applications and systems Online Learning courses. Microsoft Online Learning allows you to improve software skills with self-paced, interactive, and engaging online training available anytime, anywhere. You will need a Microsoft Windows account and the Microsoft Online Learning Activation Code to access the courses.

 

Setup a Microsoft Windows Live Account

If you have a Microsoft Windows account and forgot your password, go to Reset your Microsoft Windows password. If you do not have a Microsoft Windows account, you will need to create one.  Go to Microsoft - Create an account.

  • Do NOT use your VCU password when creating an account to minimize the security risk. You will be logging in to a Microsoft server outside the VCU network.

  • Microsoft will send you an email to confirm you Windows Live account.

 

Reset your Microsoft Windows Live password

Did you forget your password or are you having problems with the sign in, go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/account-reset-password-forgot-faq.

  • Forgot my password - DO NOT use your VCU password minimize the security risk. 

 

Request the Microsoft Online Learning Activation Code

You will need to register to gain access to the Microsoft Online Learning activation code. An email will be sent to you providing instructions on how to gain initial access to the Microsoft Online Learning courses. After your account is activated, you will go to http://onlinelearning.microsoft.com/ and sign in to access your courses. Help topics are available on the Online Learning homepage, if you wish to learn more about using Microsoft Online Learning.
