Who has access to Facilities Self Service?
Facilities Self Service is available for all VCU faculty, staff, students and affiliates with an active VCU eID. Any trouble signing in to Facilities Self Service should be reported to email@example.com.
How do I reset my Facilities Self Service password?
Because your Facilities Self Service password is the same as your eID password, you may reset your known eID password or contact the VCU IT Support Center @ 828-2227. A support representative can assist you in resetting your password right over the phone.
Signing in to Facilities Self Service
All issues regarding the Residence Halls should be submitted by signing in using the "Report a problem or request service in the Residence Halls" option. Faculty and staff, and students reporting issues, in non-dorm properties only, should use the "Report a problem or request a service anywhere on campus" option.
If you are a registered with FMD as a Building Manager you will be able to view or submit requests for any department over which you have been granted administrative, or in most cases, financial, responsibility. If you are a Building Manager and do not have a Facilities Self Service login ID, email your Campus Coordinator to request Building Manager access.
Departmental Finance Administrators
Departmental FAs who are not Building Managers may request access to view request and work order history for their department(s) by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
