SETI 420. Introduction to Spanish-English Interpretation. 3 Hours.
Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Prerequisites: SPAN 301; SPAN 320, 321 or 322; and SPAN 330, 331 or 332; or a combined scaled Avant STAMP assessment test score of 1300. Corequisite: SETI 400. Course conducted in Spanish and English. Covers theory and practical aspects of interpretation, including the three modes of interpretation: simultaneous, consecutive and sight translation.
