Looking for Shout Outs! Help me out here!

[View Image]

I need your help!

We are half way through our recruiting season and I think it is time to get some feedback.  What have you participated in so far and how was it?  Many of you have been getting interviews and offers.  Did we help???

You all tell me that you care face to face, but how come I can’t feel some of that love and use it on my Blog?  Shout it OUT!!

I will take a blurb (it does not have to be long), even if you have participated in any of these programs in the past. Don’t tell me that you can’t remember!

OK, so just in case you forgot, I have listed a few prep programs that we have had or supported so far.   Typically, most of these run every semester or annually:

  • Accounting Mock Interviews
  • BAP’s Meet the Firms
  • BAP’s Leadership Conference
  • Employer Resume Express
  • Resume Workshop with Dominion
  • How to Work A Career Fair with John Worth
  • Career Center classroom visits

Whether you are a current student or an alum, if you want to get a shout out about these program, send me an email (dward@vcu.edu), with the subject line “Program Shout Out”.  I would like to post a testimony or two on my Blog from time to time.  If you want your comment to remain anonymous, let me know and I will not add your name.

Thanks you all!  If you appreciate what we are doing (OR NOT), let me know!

****Be on the lookout for the next Shout OUT! Blog post, which will be called “Build your own Success Post.”  That is coming soon!
