Nov. 17: An Evening with VCUarts Opera
Be our guest for a special evening with VCU President Michael Rao as we celebrate the power of art and philanthropy, and showcase the inspiring talents of our opera students.
Feb. 19: Arts, Athletics and Health
Hear from Abstract Athlete creator and painting and printmaking professor Ron Johnson—as well as his collaborators in athletics and medicine, and some of our artist-athletes—as they discuss ways in which art can assist in brain trauma and recovery from bodily injuries.
March 24: Craft/Material Studies Alumni Exhibition Preview
Join VCUarts as we welcome the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts annual conference. Celebrate the talent of our alumni and leading ceramic artists during a private reception for the Pollak Society at the Anderson.
April 30: MFA Candidacy Trolley Tour
Meet emerging artists and boost your own collection during a special Trolley Tour of the MFA Candidacy Exhibitions. Learn how VCUarts motivates students to consider the social implications of their art, to thrive in a supportive environment, and to challenge their creative impulses.
