Anthony Nguyen is an American designer and artist from Brooklyn, New York by way of Santa Ana, California. His studio practice operates across graphic design, assemblage and installation, inhabiting and reporting from the intervals between America and Vietnam; between a first and second generation; between war and not-war; between home and homeland.
He received a B.A. concentrating in Sociology and Subcultures from New York University in 2000 and an M.F.A. In 2D Design From Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2018. Prior to running a freelance design practice, he worked as an apparel designer in skateboarding and streetwear, as well as an ethnographer studying marijuana blunt use populations.
