VCU hosts career fairs during fall and spring semesters. Each fair offers for students and alumni the opportunity to network with employers from a wide range of industries. More information about career fairs and participating employers can be found in Handshake.
Although professional dress is not required to attend these events, it is recommended in order to support your best first impression with employers.

This fair is designed for our Federal Work-Study employers and students who have been granted Federal Work-Study as part of their Financial Aid package. All students are welcome to visit the fair but please be aware all available positions are for students granted Federal Work-Study in their financial aid package.
This fair is open to all VCU students who want to learn about part-time and hourly opportunities both on- and off-campus. If you are looking for a job that will help you learn to balance academics and weekly shifts, this fair is the place or you.

VCU Education students interested in licensed teaching and counseling positions, as well as undergraduate students exploring teaching as a career should plan to come and network with districts and employers during the fair.

Career Week will feature four days of conference-stye programming centered on career exploration, networking, and professional development. Each day will have a slate of programs designed to connect students from all majors with employers from a variety of industries.
Co-sponsored with the VCU School of Dentistry and the Virginia Dental Association, this fair will provide dentists and dental practices with the opportunity to engage with third and fourth year dental students, as well as fourth year dental hygiene students, in a virtual setting.

Tuesday, March 9th, 1:30-2:30 pm | Pre-Health Advisory Committee (PHAC) is designed for and open to VCU undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and recent alumni students on ANY pre-professional health track and are planning to apply to professional health programs during the summer/fall 2021 semesters for Fall 2022 admissions. Students who are participants of a guaranteed admissions program are eligible to participate in PHAC. This workshop is for students that have completed the PHAC introduction video, that have registered to participate in the process. Attendees should come prepared with questions about creating, writing, and editing their personal statement for the PHAC process. This is not a personal statement review workshop. The interview process can be stressful for most people. Having the knowledge and skills on how to effectively interview can make the experience less stressful and help you obtain that admissions spot or job offer. This session will focus on the various types of interviews including Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), strategies and techniques for each type and how to demonstrate that you are the best candidate. This workshop is part of the Division of Health Sciences Diversity Career Services Spring 2021 Series.
