Research Assistant

I am a M.S.W. student concentrating in social work administration, planning and policy practice at the VCU School of Social Work. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in women’s and gender studies with a double major in communication studies. As an advocate for social and environmental justice, I have written extensively about the connections between humans and animals both prior to and throughout my studies.

I am very excited to be a part of the CFAR team and to learn more about human-animal interaction from a social work research perspective.
