The universitywide celebrations will begin at 9 a.m. EDT on Sat., May 15. Join the Class of 2021 Virtual Pre-Party, beginning at 9 a.m., followed by the commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Celebrations will be hosted on the commencement homepage - commencement.vcu.edu. A PDF of the universitywide commencement program will be available to download on May 15 on the commencement website.

Graduates may purchase regalia starting on March 29, 2021, during Grad Fair. Grad Fair will be held at the Monroe Park Campus Barnes & Noble @ VCU, March 29 - April 2, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To make an appointment for graduation portraits and class rings, please see the appropriate sections above.
Following the Grad Fair, regalia will be available for purchase at the Barnes & Noble @ VCU on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. If you are unable to attend the Grad Fair or visit the bookstore, please order your regalia online at balfour.com/vcu beginning April 3. Shipping charges will apply to all internet orders.
VCU will host graduate portrait sessions at the Stuart C. Siegel Center on Tuesday, May 11 from 2 PM to 7 PM and on Wednesday, May 12 from 9 AM to 3 PM for May 2021 graduates. Graduates must sign up for a reserved time slot and will be sent additional instructions for arrival and social distancing protocols. Professional graduate photos will be taken by GradImages and graduates will be able to take portraits as well as pose on the commencement stage, during their registered time period.
All 2020 graduates originally invited to participate in a May or December ceremony will be invited to participate in person at a future university Commencement ceremony. All 2020 graduates will be contacted with more information.
Any changes to college and school ceremonies will be communicated by the college or school.
