Get Involved- Take Action
There are many ways to get involved in preventing violence and helping to support those impacted.
SAVES (Students Advocating Violence Education and Support)
SAVES is an inclusive group of students of all genders that work towards ending violence on campus. The mission of SAVES at VCU is to assist in prevention and offer support to those affected by sexual violence, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, and stalking. We do this by promoting awareness, hosting educational events, and campaigns.
Within SAVES we have two types of volunteers, Tier 1 and Tier 2*:
*Tier 2 volunteers are required to attend one of our eight-hour training sessions provided each semester.
