Thinking about applying to the Product Innovation, Venture Creation or Human-Centered Design certificate? Curious about how many extra classes you will need to take? Worried about the application process? Get your questions answered at our virtual drop-in hours. Attendance for the whole hour not required, drop-in anytime during the hour to ask questions. Health Care Design Jam

Participate in a VCU da Vinci Center Design Jam to examine health care issues through the lens of human-centered design and design thinking. This is a free, one-day event and is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.

How Design Jams Work:

  • 1-day event
  • A single prompt is selected for the entire group

Students will:

  • Be introduced to the design thinking process
  • Discuss the importance of intent vs impact in the design process as it relates to the people and communities we design solutions for
  • Have an opportunity to apply new learning in response to a high level opportunity
