The 21st century calls for creative thinkers with an entrepreneurial mindset, and da Vinci Center answers this call by helping students harness these competencies through real life projects. We prepare students to transform their ideas into new products and ventures in teams. Whether they set up their own company or develop an innovative product or not, we want our students to walk away from our programs confident in their ability to be problem solvers, creators, and makers.
The VCU da Vinci Center offers the following graduate programs:
A 13-month, cross-disciplinary master’s program focused on students applying knowledge in advanced product innovation and entrepreneurship topics with real-life clients.
The Graduate Certificate in Health Care Innovation, a collaboration between the VCU School of Nursing and the VCU da Vinci Center, is the first of its kind in Virginia. The certificate equips students with specific knowledge and skills to become leaders in developing digital and physical products, as well as processes related to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to health care issues, such as rising costs and improving quality and access to care.
