Susan T. Gooden, Ph.D., elected next ASPA president, publishes new book on social equity

Executive Director Susan Gooden, has been elected the next president of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). Gooden, who is a former National Council representative and a current Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration, was elected as the next president of ASPA in December. The largest and most prominent professional association for public administration, the society boasts more than 8,000 members and is dedicated to advancing the art, science, teaching, and practice of public and non-profit administration. Per ASPA’s bylaws, Gooden will serve as vice president for one year starting in 2014, president-elect for one year and will serve as president in 2016.
