...the Honors curriculum forced me to explore other disciplines that I normally would not have approached. Being so focused on working towards my goal of becoming a doctor while growing up had often led me astray in that I was sometimes ignorant of other subject areas and worldwide views. However, this curriculum allowed me to take classes outside my comfort zone and expand my knowledge to other disciplines.
