Residential Requirements To Move-in

As responsible members of the VCU community, we must all continue to do our part to promote health and safety for ourselves and others. Below are the requirements for students to move-in or remain in their space for the 2021 Spring Semester. These requirements must be completed by Jan. 7, 2021.

Take a COVID-19 Entry Testings

All residential students are required to take a COVID-19 test and receive a negative result to move-in or stay in their space. Entry test kits will contain saliva-based PCR tests approved for self-administration. Saliva tests are easy and comfortable to perform and do not require a clinician to administer. PCR tests are the most reliable COVID-19 tests.

To receive their test kit, students should follow instructions outlined on housing.vcu.edu/springtesting.Test kits are being overnighted through FedEx. When filling out the address form for the testing kit, residents should list their address they can receive their test kit without delay.
