This application is for students currently not living in on-campus housing and who wish to live in on-campus housing for the Spring semester. The application is open to current students and students who will be starting in the Spring semester. New students will need to accept the offer to attend VCU and pay their enrollment deposit before applying for on-campus housing.

When a student completes the Housing Application, they electronically sign the contract at the end of the application process. Instead of signing a specific contract for a specific room, students sign a general contract for the academic year. Signing the Housing Contract does not guarantee housing or is considered binding until the student receives their assignment. To view the housing contract visit our resource page.
Room assignments will begin Nov. 9, 2020, and will continue on a rolling basis.

Students living in Brandt, Gladding Residence Center, Johnson and Rhoads are required to have a dining plan. Students will need to choose one of the “Required Plans” listed on bsv.vcu.edu/dining.
Student living in Ackell, Broad & Belvidere, Cary & Belvidere, Grace & Broad, West Grace North and West Grace South are not required to have meal plans.
While renters insurance is not required it is highly recommended. Some homeowners insurance will cover residence halls. Check with insurance providers for details. Students that are not covered under a homeowners policy can find renters insurance information and options in the Housing Application.
