Evaluate and amend

The alternative work arrangement plan should be reviewed periodically, typically as part of the performance management cycle. Renewal is not guaranteed; the telecommuting arrangement, employee performance and other circumstances will be considered by the manager in determining whether to renew the agreement.

If any amendments to the agreement are agreed to between the employee and the department, those amendments should be set forth in writing and kept on file with the alternative work arrangement plan.
