Welcome to Intersession and J-Term at Virginia Commonwealth University. We’re confident that you’ll be able to find what you need from numerous courses.
All three-credit courses for Intersession are taught Dec. 28, 2020, through Jan. 9, 2021, during the winter break closing schedule. All three-credit courses for J-Term are taught Dec. 28, 2020 through Jan. 15, 2021. Classes will not be held Jan. 1, 2021.
Who can attend?
Intersession and J-Term are open to current VCU students and students visiting from other institutions.
If you are attending VCU for an Intersession or J-Term course only, you will register as a nondegree-seeking student. Nondegree-seeking students must meet VCU’s eligibility requirements. Students who are currently seeking a baccalaureate degree at another college or university must be in good standing at their home institution and must have a letter from their home institution approving the courses they will transfer.
