TEACHING

I currently co-teach the doctoral level course for healthcare clinicians transitioning to academic roles. I am actively involved in simulation practice across undergraduate and graduate programs. My teaching experience to date includes undergraduate adult health, and graduate level courses preparing academic nurse educators.

RESEARCH

The focus of my research is clinical teaching and learning with an emphasis on simulation-based education.

SERVICE

I serve on several School of Nursing committees and work groups and have served on University Council. I currently serve as Vice Chair for the Regulations Committee at the International Nursing Association for Clinical and Simulation Learning (INACSL) and am actively involved in several professional organizations focusing on healthcare simulation and nursing education. I have provided consultation to schools of nursing in the areas of simulation, curriculum development and evaluation, and program administration.
