LIVE: Leading in a Virtual Environment [View Image]
Leading in a Virtual Environment (LIVE) is a three-day program for supervisors and managers that aims to improve your leadership skills through recognizing the stressors of these times in oneself and others and building healthy responses, designing schedules that work, energizing your team, performance management, and other components.
LIVE is a highly interactive sequence of topics, tips, and tools to develop and sharpen leadership skills in virtual and hybrid work environments (where we are managing both virtual and in-office experiences). Participants leave armed with knowledge and confidence in their ability to solve some of the challenges many are experiencing in 2020. The goal of LIVE is to increase an individual’s performance as a supervisor and to provide practical tools to enhance staff performance.
VCU is pleased to offer conference participants 2.3 continuing educational units for their attendance at LIVE. For human resource professionals, LIVE provides 22.5 professional development credits.
Leading in a Virtual Environment and More (LIVE+) includes an additional day from LIVE where participants receive individual coaching from one of PMG’s premier coaches as well as the opportunity to complete the FourSight Assessment.
VCU is pleased to offer conference participants 3.0 continuing educational units for their attendance at LIVE+. For human resource professionals, LIVE+ provides 30 professional development credits.
Both LIVE and LIVE+ address the unique challenges of leading in a virtual and hybrid public service setting. LIVE is open to local, state, and federal employees. Learning occurs in a safe and encouraging environment in which the facilitators encourage active involvement by participants.
