Animals on University Property - This policy provides the requirements and limitations for individuals seeking to bring an animal on university property. The policy covers service animals, service animals in training, emotional support animals, pets, working animals, therapy and program animals, and excludes university-owned animals for education and/or research purposes. The policy outlines the responsibilities of animal owners and handlers and discusses enforcement and sanctions.

The Policy Program has developed a number of resources to aid policy development and drafting. These resources are available on the Policy Program website and include the current approved policy template, executive summary template, policy writing guide, policy glossary and other helpful resources.
