Important operational updates and deadlines

VCU continues to prepare for a robust and engaged on-campus learning, living and working experience this fall.

With that goal in mind, a number of key decisions regarding vaccinations, masks, physical distancing and work arrangements were announced on June 7. These decisions were made with input from VCU’s Public Health Response Team and the VCU community. They are consistent with guidance from the Virginia Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American College Health Association and decisions announced by peer institutions in Virginia.

Our mission

The VCU Office of the Provost provides the platform for student and faculty success. We make sure our faculty and academic leaders are supported and well-prepared to deliver quality programs and curricula that fit our students’ needs, not the other way around. Helping them achieve their goals, and get everything they want out of their time here at VCU, remains our top priority.
