“Everyday we are faced with problems, which if given some thought can be overcome by well-designed solutions. This year’s competition is an opportunity for students to respond to small or large problems that people all over the world are faced with daily,” stated Ms. Dima Salameh, VCUQatar, Recruitment Officer.
Based on this year’s theme of Better Living through Better Design students in the competition countries will get a chance to express their creative solutions to problems they see in their surroundings.
“Design is about inspiring other people with wonderful ideas. Bringing better living through better design is what we are looking for from students. We want them to design a solution that will improve everyday living,” explained Donna Duffett, VCUQatar Events Manager.
