Bike Shop

The OAP Bike Shop is a free resource available to VCU students, faculty, and staff. Through hands-on instruction, we can help you to maintain and repair your own bike. We offer bike repair workshops as well as one on one instruction by trained bike mechanics.

The use of shop tools stands, and equipment is absolutely free.

Our staff can also provide you with information on local riding destinations, cycling resources, and riding tips. Don’t have your own bike, or want to try something different? We offer road and mountain bike rentals at a very affordable price. The OAP Bike Shop is located in the Outing Rental Center, 130 South Linden Street.

Modern bicycles are simple yet complex machines. But did you know there are plenty of things you can do to keep your ride running smoothly without spending much time, effort, or money? The OAP bike maintenance crew will demonstrate how to clean, lube, and adjust your bike to keep you rolling and avoid costly repairs down the road. No need to bring your bike; just bring your curiosity and questions!
