Managers and supervisors are responsible for informing Safety and Risk Management whenever a serious incident occurs. VCU is required by state law to report serious injuries to the Virginia Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Based on the nature of the incident reported, you may be contacted for additional information.

In the event of an emergency requiring an immediate response, call 911 (or 828-1234 if on campus).
