VCU is committed to the integrity and quality of our research as an essential component of human research protections.
The OVPRI Human Research Protection Program provides guidance and resources for researchers and IRB members at Virginia Commonwealth University. We review all research involving human participants to facilitate the conduct of ethical research and ensure compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations.
One VCU Clinical Research is a collaboration between the OVPRI Division of Clinical Research, the C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research and VCU Health. Our shared mission is to lead the development of research training, standards, quality and opportunities for the communities we serve.
COVID-19 updates: For information, updates and guidance related to the COVID-19 outbreak and its impact on human research, please monitor the VCU HRPP blog, as well as the OVPRI Phased Return to Research webpage.
