International Scholar Development

The Robertson School is proud to offer two programs for international students and scholars.

First, the Global Media Visiting Scholar Program offers university faculty, doctoral students as well as media executives and professionals from around the world the opportunity to undertake one or two semester(s) (up to 6 or 12 months) of research and creative activities in the Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.

Second, the VCU Media and Culture Program is a multi-week summer program designed for students from international partner universities, jointly run by the VCU Global Education Office and the VCU Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture. In this program, which is offered through collaborations with partner universities, students will receive topical lectures offered by Robertson School faculty, as well as intensive English language instruction from the CEA-accredited English Language Program.
