Graduates

In summer 2019, fall 2019 and spring 2020, 24 students earned master’s degrees in the school counseling track, and six students earned M.Ed. degrees in the college student development and counseling track. We also celebrated two graduates of the Ph.D. in Education, Concentration in Counselor Education and Supervision.

Completion rate

When looking at full time students in the program, 100% of students admitted to the M.Ed. in counseling’s school counseling concentration and 100% of the students admitted to the college counseling and student affairs concentration completed the degree program within three years. For our doctoral students who attended full time, we had a three-year graduation rate of 50%, with the other students expected to graduate this coming fall semester.

Job placement rate

Approximately 89% of school counseling track graduates and 60% of college counseling and student affairs track graduates obtained jobs in counseling or a related field or were enrolled in doctoral studies within six months of completing our M.Ed. program. For our doctoral program, 100% of our doctoral graduates obtained jobs within six months of completing the degree.
