The VCU School of Education's Minor in Education is designed with you in mind. It's practical and focused on teaching critical skills used in all careers. Complete our Minor in Education to try out classes for your future major or to learn more about human learning, teaching, and how education can support diversity and democracy.

As of fall 2020, the School of Education has a new minor in education. It requires at least 18 credits, consisting of the following:

Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 to declare a minor in education and must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 throughout the coursework in the minor.
