This course will be available in Blackboard beginning Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. All students are required to complete the Responsible Together Course by Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, or by the time they return to campus after the New Year.
The course is designed so that all students will have a better understanding of the steps being taken by the university to ensure their health and safety, as well as an understanding of their expected contributions to the health, safety and success of our VCU community - both on-campus and wherever a student may be studying/learning/engaging at this time. Through the course, all students will agree to an acknowledgement of required compliance with public health measures indicating course completion and personal compliance with safety protocols.

New students will complete the course as part of Orientation.
Training will be available for all students on Monday, Jan. 4.
For Spring 2021, all students (including student employees), are required to take the student "Responsible Together Course" found in Blackboard. Your manager for your VCU job may request that you also take the employee Reboarding@VCU training, but that will be decided by your manager on a case-by-case basis, and is not a all-VCU requirement.
Completion of the training will be monitored via the Blackboard grade book with follow up. If you have questions about access to the training or completion status, please email dsa@vcu.edu.
Our students, faculty and staff share accountability to ensure the health of our community. We must be able to rely on one another to stay safe and well. We are One VCU and we share the responsibility for one another.
Students will continue to be required to complete a brief daily health check. Per the One VCU: Responsible Together plan, this daily survey is required to monitor the health of the VCU community. It is essential that we make daily personal health monitoring a priority.
A reminder email with a link to the health check will be sent daily to your VCU email account. Please be sure to make checking this account a daily habit as well. You can also access the check by visiting the Daily Health website.
You are required to complete this daily. This includes the days you do not plan to come to campus, as well as if your courses are fully online.
Your responses are not stored nor is the information you provide accessible to others. VCU only tracks if you did or did not respond. If you are experiencing technical issues with the survey, please email healthcheck@vcu.edu.
Not completing the daily check will result in follow-up and progressive disciplinary action.
