Fraternity & Sorority Life at VCU

The fraternity and sorority community at VCU has enhanced the lives of thousands of men and women over the last 50 years. 

Membership can help you find your niche at VCU, offer academic assistance and support, encourage you to be active in student organizations and community service, open doors for opportunity, assist you in developing social skills, provide educational awareness about social issues, and give you a chance to make friends with similar 

VCU offers a diverse mix of fraternities and sororities with the hopes that prospective student members have many options to match their personal values and personalities. More than 1,500 students are members of 40 fraternities and sororities at VCU. These individuals serve in a variety of leadership positions within their chapter or governing council.

• FSL Expansion Statement - Fall 2020
  The Fraternity and Sorority Life community at Virginia Commonwealth University has halted all expansion. The community will not begin accepting applications again until at least Fall 2021. Presently, the community feels that this is not the appropriate time to expand. As the community navigates the shift in operations due to COVID-19 and adapts to those changes they feel now is not the time to add to the community.
