Tobacco CessationVCU is Tobacco Free
Thinking about quitting or cutting back your use of tobacco products or e-cigarettes/vapes?
We can help! Students can sign up for a Virtual one-on-one smoking cessation appointment with a staff member from The Well.
Effective July 1, 2019, all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, are prohibited on university property — including buildings and vehicles — and only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas. The new policy applies to students, faculty, staff, contractors and campus visitors. Visit tobaccofree.vcu.edu for details about policy implementation and smoking cessation resources. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Most students already know of the harm associated with smoking cigarettes, using smokeless tobacco, and vaping. A lot of students want to learn more about the effects of vaping and what support is available to help them quit. For additional information and support, email email@example.com or visit tobaccofree.vcu.edu.
