Purchasing programs are available to provide software discounts to students, faculty, and staff for personal and professional purchases. The VCU Barnes & Noble bookstore provides software discounts for purchases via thinkEDU, which offers a large variety of software titles for Windows or Mac. Statistical software such as SAS and SPSS is available free to faculty, staff, and students for instructional or research use on the Software Center page.

Departments should visit VCU Procurement & Payment for software contact information from Microsoft. Apple provides discounts for departmental purchases as well. For software not found on any of these sites departments can visit the RAMTech or thinkEDU site to purchase software at a discount.
