Customize Your Recruiting Plans

Virtual Career Fair ($500):

  • Tuesday, Sept. 21, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST
  • Group sessions available
  • 10-minute 1:1 slots available
  • All scheduling and registration will be done through Handshake

Companies with the most success posted job openings in Handshake two weeks prior to the fair & tied the positions to their group and/or one-on-one sessions based on their current recruiting needs.

Virtual Employer One-on-Ones:

  • Active job posting in Handshake a requirement
  • 15-20 minute individual time slots (you choose how long you want to run: 3 to 4 hours is average)
  • BCS creates and sends invitation to students based on target: GPA, grade level/graduation date, major
  • Students sign up in advance for timeslot1
  • Use your company approved platform for day-of meeting (zoom, webex etc) 

Discussion format is employer choice: formal, casual, open topic etc. Goal is for employers to talk to students in the target hiring bracket to get an advance look at candidates,  help move them towards applying or to route them another direction if needed. This process often helps streamline the formal interview process.

Virtual Campus Interviews:

  • Handshake platform will be used to book and schedule interviews
  • 30 minute or 60 minute interview slots
  • Position must be posted in Handshake at least 2 weeks prior to interview date
  • Use your company approved platform for day-of interviews (zoom, webex etc) 

Business Career Services is happy to assist in the organization and layout of your day from the job posting, time slot planning and student reminders.

Virtual Job Blasts

  • Must have active posting in Handshake for business students
  • Exclusive promotion for individual company
  • BCS will compile job posting information and send email to target students (BCS will have a discussion with representatives to establish what target should be.)
  • BCS will track data analytics on open and click rate

Job blasts help boost application rates especially in the 24-48 hours after email goes out.

Employer One-on-Ones:

  • Active job posting in Handshake a requirement  
  • 15-20 minute individual time slots (you choose how long you want to run: 3 to 4 hours is average)
  • BCS creates and sends invitation to students based on target: GPA, grade level/graduation date, major
  • Students sign up in advance for timeslot
  • BCS will book space in the Business School for sessions (You will still need to offer virtual slots since our fall will be hybrid with some students learning remotely.)

Meet & Greet Exclusive Recruiting Event ($250):

*Active job posting/postings in Handshake a requirement

  • 1 hour custom recruiting event 
  • BCS creates and sends invitation to students based on target: GPA, grade level/graduation date, major
  • BCS manages the student RSVP. Students must register in advance since space is limited and only invited students can register. 
  • BCS reserves the space and helps oversee day of logistics

30 minute in-depth presentation about the role followed by Q&A. Goal is to have representatives from your company that can effectively communicate about the position/positions so that students get a real opportunity to see what they are applying for. The remaining 30 minutes is for networking designed to let students move around and talk to the various representatives from your company.  

On Campus Information Table:

  • Great for branding, networking, getting general information out about a company, types of roles etc. 
  • BCS reserves space in the Business School for event
  • Food required (Must be pre packaged individually wrapped such as: redbull, iced coffee bottles, assorted snack packs)
  • Give away encouraged (Goal is to improve brand awareness for your company)

Employer One-on-Ones:
