Meet the Military Veterans Alumni Council

The VCU Military Veterans Alumni Council invites all alumni, student, faculty and staff veterans to stop by the student commons for complimentary breakfast and swag items, as well as a chance to learn how to get involved with the council. Visit the council on Facebook or contact Larry Powell (B.S.’85/MC), director of alumni affinity programs, to learn more.

STAT Barnes and Noble Black Out 

Sponsored by Students Today Alumni Tomorrow and Barnes & Noble at VCU, this after-hours event of entertainment, food and fun is open to all students (and alumni, parents and families if you’d like to stop by). Free swag and food and a 20% discount on one clothing item for STAT members who download the bookstore app.

2021 Alumni Pitch Competition

Grab a virtual front-row seat for the third annual VCU Alumni Pitch Competition to watch alumni entrepreneurs pitch their product, service or company to a panel of judges. The winner receives a $6,000 cash prize and the title of 2021 champion. (In-person attendance is by invitation only.)

VCUarts Theatre presents ‘Men on Boats’
Men on Boats” is a gender-expansive reimagination of the 1869 expedition of the Green and Colorado rivers to the Grand Canyon, as documented by John Wesley Powell. This is the first in-person production with a live audience inside the Singleton Center in almost two years. Discounted tickets are available for VCU alumni and community members.

Golf Cart Parade 

Before heading over to the women’s basketball game, enjoy a pregame parade featuring golf carts creatively decorated by student and alumni groups, and try to catch some candy and prizes the riders will be tossing to the crowd..
