The VCU Events Calnedar now has a customizable XML Feed. This gives you the opprotunitiy to include your department’s events directly into your site. This can be on the homepage or a special events page.
Here are a couple example pages.
You can see how to do this to your site by viewing the tutorial.Categories Features

This XML feed is great! The Music department has implemented it here.
A question though — is it possible to add “previous/next” buttons to the event details page so that users can scroll between event details instead of going to back to the event listings page?
Also, another great feature would be a printer-friendly page where users could print out a listing of events and event details.

Links are removed from comments so here is the URL for those interested:

To answer your other questions… The XML feed cannot add any functionality to the calendar that does not already exist. We are aware of some of the limitations within the calendar and are planning on upgrading the Events Calendar. These are great suggestions and I will be sure to pass them on.
Thanks,
Rob
