VCU hosts career fairs during fall and spring semesters. Each fair offers for students and alumni the opportunity to network with employers from a wide range of industries. More information about career fairs and participating employers can be found in Handshake.
Although professional dress is not required to attend these events, it is recommended in order to support your best first impression with employers.
Register for any of our career fairs through Handshake. If you would like to discuss networking during a career fair, update your career materials, or update your professional wardrobe before attending a career fair, you can make a career advising or Suit Yourself Closet appointment through Handshake.
This fair is designed for our Federal Work-Study employers and students who have been granted Federal Work-Study as part of their Financial Aid package. All students are welcome to visit the fair but please be aware all available positions are for students granted Federal Work-Study in their financial aid package.
This fair is open to all VCU students who want to learn about part-time and hourly opportunities both on- and off-campus. If you are looking for a job that will help you learn to balance academics and weekly shifts, this fair is the place or you.
This career fair will enable you to connect with recruiters and hiring managers from organizations that are committed to building a diverse workforce by hiring candidates like you. These organizations are seeking students and alumni for internship and full-time job opportunities. Everyone is welcome!
This fair will connect VCU students to employers offering opportunities for relevant, experiential and applied learning. Whether you are hoping to volunteer, intern, conduct research or create, this fair is for you!
VCU Education students interested in licensed teaching and counseling positions, as well as undergraduate students exploring teaching as a career should plan to come and network with districts and employers during the fair.
This year's event will offer ONLY a career fair format.
Career Week will feature four days of conference-stye programming centered on career exploration, networking, and professional development. Each day will have a slate of programs designed to connect students from all majors with employers from a variety of industries.
Co-sponsored with the VCU School of Dentistry and the Virginia Dental Association, this fair will provide dentists and dental practices with the opportunity to engage with third and fourth year dental students, as well as fourth year dental hygiene students, in a virtual setting.
