The Wright Center works to augment, cultivate, facilitate, and refine high-quality, subject-oriented clinical research. We partner with VCU Health, the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Institutional Review Board and other university and hospital service providers to standardize, streamline and support clinical research efforts.
The VCU Medical Center Clinical Research Unit is a seven bed outpatient unit with overnight capacity located on the eighth floor of North Hospital. The unit provides VCU Health clinicians with the physical space and support necessary to conduct clinical research.
For more information about the Clinical Research Unit, please contact 804-828-9101 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Collaborative Advanced Research Imaging (CARI) Center houses 6,000 square feet of research space including our research-dedicated Philips Ingenia 3.0 Tesla MRI Scanner, a mock scanner, interview rooms, drug screening rooms, a dispensary and more.
The Wright Center has created an online form for research teams to conveniently request ancillary support services and facilities for the conduct of your clinical research. Ancillary support service and facility areas will determine feasibility and costs for requests.
