Our Faculty Success and Wellness Day provides an introduction to some contemplative practices to help balance our busy lives. This day is an opportunity to nourish ourselves both intellectually and holistically, to explore wellness practices for self-care. When we take care of ourselves, both mentally and physically, we provide an example for our students. We see faculty success as a whole-person inclusive daily practice. We hope some of the things we practice and learn on this day will help all of us build a self-care practice going forward.

As a follow up to the event, we put together a folder which contains resources such as reflective exercises, a 30-day self care challenge, to tips on successfully working from home, and links to yoga, meditation and Tai Chi videos.
