Welcome to the Division for Academic Success (DAS)

The Office of the Senior Vice President of Health Sciences

We offer disability and academic support services to students in the VCU Health Sciences schools. Those schools include the College of Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

Our mission is to create inclusive and accessible learning environments while facilitating academic success. This is accomplished through innovative services and programs in partnership with faculty, staff, and students at VCU.

NOTE: For assistance accessing any of the forms below, please contact the Division for Academic Success at 804-828-9782 or acadsuccess@vcu.edu.

Let's Connect Virtually

Hello Students, Faculty, and Staff –

We are offering virtual “face-to-face” conferencing options for students to discuss academic accommodations, studying and exam strategies, and overall learning skills. We will still support faculty and staff in our health science schools on accommodation questions, thinking through accessibility issues within the virtual environment, and anything else needed. Please contact us directly by email. You can find the DAS staff member assigned to your school under the Academics accordion section on either the “Students” or “Faculty and Staff” pages. You can find staff member names, photos, and email addresses on the “About Us” page.

We remain ready to support our students in achieving their academic goals, as well as partnering with our VCU colleagues in delivering high quality educational experiences every day. Reach out. We are here!
