Our faculty serve at the helm of three national pharmacy organizations. Our alumni are forging new ground in pharmaceutical research, clinical care and community service. Our students are recognized as among the best in the nation.
We are looking to raise $4.5 M for endowed professorships and chairs to recruit and retain the best talent in academic pharmacy.
Pharmacy education happens beyond the classroom. Our students must be able to experience professional meetings and unique experiential training environments. $500,000 will support students in pursuing professional development outside of the R. Blackwell Smith building.
Interprofessionalism is at the heart of health care. The VCU School of Pharmacy leads the university in collaborative care outreach and training.
Recognized with the C. Peter Magrath University Community Engagement Award and AACP’s Lawrence C. Weaver Transformative Community Service Award, the VCU School of Pharmacy is a model example of community engagement. $500,000 will support students in pursuing professional development outside of the R. Blackwell Smith building.
The expertise of our research faculty, institutes and centers is evident by increasing levels of federal research funding, research productivity and intellectual property output. We must expand the infrastructure supporting our scientists as they strive to discover/invent new treatments and cures for human disease.
