Who we are

We had a strong team to lead us through the redesign.

Executive sponsors

President Michael Rao and members of the cabinet were champions of this Great Place: HR Redesign. They were the executive sponsors, providing leadership and strategic direction, and making final decisions. They collaborated with an advisory committee, several subcommittees, a steering committee and a project management office.

The advisory committee

The advisory committee represented and seeked input from key constituents; reviewed and provided feedback on proposals; served as a clearinghouse for issues and concerns; made recommendations to the executive sponsors; and oversaw the work of subcommittees. The steering committee

The steering committee provided guidance and direction for the project, advised on scope, deliverables and policy changes. They set priorities, helped to navigate change, resolved problems and removed obstacles. Membership included the following representatives:

The project management office

The project management office included a project executive, project manager and program managers. The executive provided leadership and direction for the project. The project manager developed and monitored project work plans. The program manager served as the key staff person responsible for leading the design and implementation of a particular HR program.
