Your student health fee covers visits to the student health clinics but does not cover the cost of referrals to specialists, medications, x-rays, hospital or ER visits.  We encourage all college students to get health insurance coverage to prevent an illness or accident from causing a financial burden.

Students without health insurance are encouraged to research options through the Health Insurance MarketplaceLow-income students may be eligible for coverage through Virginia Medicaid.  Click on the Medicaid link to learn more.
